I started out betting poker when I was a boy. Back then it was just a touch of enjoyable without money. It was enjoyable to be wagering the same game that the grown ups were wagering.
I wagered it with my siblings and cousins when I was young; and became rather excellent at it. When I was 14 or 15 I started out playing with the adults. I have a really large extended family, and on the weekend my parents and aunts and uncles would acquire together and bet on poker. We would play with a tiny charge to enter, and play until one individual had all the cash. It meant that in case you lost all your cash you kept wagering – you just couldn’t raise the bet. It’s a very sociable way to play, and enjoyable; but it is not actually poker – there’s no bluffing.
