"What exactly is Texas holdem pot odds and is really a Holdem pot likelihood system worth pursuing?"
That was a current question I received from on of my Hold em Students.
One thing to remember, any type of Holdem odds can and usually do acquire very confusing.
Nevertheless, let me break pot chances down in extremely simple terms. Please note that we are only discussing Pot Chances. Not outs, implied chances, simple chances or something else like that.
In short, pot odds are the probabilities you get when determining the ratio of the level of money in the pot to the quantity of money it’ll cost you to call the bet.
For instance, let’s say you are heads up with Player A. If there is 150 dollars in the pot following the flop and Player A places a twenty dollars bet it’ll charge you only 13 per-cent of the pot to stay in the hand. That is all there would be to it actually. Texas hold em pot likelihood boils down to one factor. If your chance of winning is much better than the ratio of the pot size to the bet then you have good pot likelihood. If it’s lower than you’ve bad pot chances.
