Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the west in an excellent game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the house, not like most other poker games that players play against other players. By playing against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to fret about other, more knowledgeable gamblers taking their moolla.
Another Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game play, novices should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty selections.
It’s also easier to gamble on for a long time with just a tiny bit of cash after all, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the casino gets 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
