Howard Lederer lived in a family of five where he enjoyed taking part in various card games at a young age. He also assisted his sister Annie Duke learn poker. She was a superb student of the game as she constantly asked questions about the right way to make the proper choice. Howard told Annie Duke to head out to Vegas and play in the WSOP tournaments. Annie Duke is one of the greatest female players the poker world today. Howard headed to Las Vegas in Nineteen Ninety Three and competed in money games for the following 10 years. When the World Poker Tournament gained popularity, he made the decision to compete in more tournaments.
