Web poker has become world famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several variations on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer rather than each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer declares "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers are given 5 cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to either make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning ante, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your bet goes instantaneously to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with a sum equal to the initial bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The casino pony’s up money equal to your bet and fixed expectations on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
