Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in an excellent game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the croupier, unlike the majority of other poker games that players bet with other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players do not need to be concerned about other, more knowledgeable individuals winning their money.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game pace, rookies can take their time and strategize while not having to make hasty selections.
It is also simpler to bet on for an extended time with only a small bit of money since, to lose, both of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards face up and the dealer gets 7 cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
