Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in a wonderful game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the house, not like nearly all other poker games that players wager against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, new players do not need to fret about any other, more skillful gamblers winning their mulla.
An additional Pai Gow advantage is the fairly leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make hasty decisions.
It’s also much simpler to enjoy for a long time with just a small amount of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the croupier is given 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the casino’s.
