Ah, the tilt. If a poker player states at no time to have looked down the shadow of a looming tilt – they’re either telling a lie or they have not been wagering very long. Now let’s say you are up one hundred dollars off of a $100 deposit, and you suffer a gigantic blow in a NL game and your stack is down to one hundred and twenty dollars. You have squandered eighty dollars in a round where you should have picked up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and had a ten to one advantage. And that guy! He bled you dry on the river? – Well hold it right there. This is a classic opportunity for a brand-new bettor to begin tilting.
