Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a fantastic game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the casino, unlike most other poker games that players wager with other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to worry about other, more experienced players winning their mulla.
One more Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game play, rookies are able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make quick decisions.
It is also easier to wager on for an extended time with basically a small amount of money after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be under each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the croupier receives seven cards face down.
A five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
