Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the western in a great game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the croupier, unlike most other poker games that players play against other players. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don’t have to be concerned about any other, more skillful people winning their moolla.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make quick choices.
It is also simpler to gamble on for a very long time with basically a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the casino is dealt seven cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the casino’s.
