Ah, the poker tilt. If a poker enthusiast states at no time to have looked down the shadow of an upcoming poker tilt – they are either lying or they haven’t been betting very long. Awful defeats are bound to happen. Embrace that reality right now, I’ll say it once more – if your siblings enjoy cards, if your mother enjoys cards, if your grandparents enjoy cards – We all have bad losses sometime. It is an unavoidable experience of competing in Texas Hold’em, or in reality any type of poker.
Seeing as we are assumingly (nearly all of us) in the game for one purpose – to win money, it does make sense that we will gamble accordingly to maximize winnings. Now let’s say you are up one hundred dollars off of a $100 deposit, and you suffer a huge blow in a NL game and your stack is only has remaining $120. You’ve burned eighty dollars in a round where you were assured to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and enjoyed a 10 – 1 advantage. And that guy! He banged you out on the river? – Well hold it right here. This is a quintessential choice for a fresh gambler to begin tilting. They basically burned too much $$$$ on one round that they should have won and they are agitated
